How to tick off God

In today’s reading there is one of the most dangerous phrases in all of Scriptures, “Oh, my Lord, please send someone else.” God was gracious to Moses to answer each one of his questions and doubts. The dialogue was going well until Moses responded, “On, my Lord, please send someone else (Exodus 3:14).” It is at this point that the “the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses (Exodus 4:14). Why was God so ticked off? The answer may lie in the oxymoron of Moses’ plea. God had told Moses exactly what He desired for Moses to accomplish. God had promised Moses He would be with Moses. God had promised Moses the power to accomplish the task. How can one with just clear direction say “My Lord” and “no” in the same phrase?
